Location

Poliglide is situated in the stunning Hinterland of Byron Bay, the most easterly point of Australia, on the edge of Mt Warning's ancient volcanic caldera. The spectacular beaches and lush forested mountain ranges provide breathtaking scenery to fly over.

Instructors

Your instructors Andrew Polidano and Cedar Anderson have a passion for paragliding and paramotoring and are dedicated to teaching this amazing form of flight. Poliglide takes pride in the high skill and competence level achieved during training. All instructors are endorsed by the Hang Gliding Federation of Australia (HGFA).

Safety

Poliglide is, above all, dedicated to your safety and providing a supportive learning environment throughout your course. Having two instructors allows you to transition through your course whilst being supported at every stage. For example on your first high glides we will have one instructor assisting your launch and guiding you every step of the way, via radio, to get you comfortably in the air. The other instructor will guide you through the landing phase to get you safely back on the ground. We use only modern equipment for your training conforming to current safety standards and encourage the use of extra safety precautions such as ankle protective footwear.
